Ms. Yarn Head
__________
Self-Initiated Project
When a close friend decided to transform her passion for knitting into a small online business selling handcrafted toys, I eagerly offered to assist with the branding. She had settled on a business name, and from there, I took on the task of designing a logo and packaging that would reflect her unique craft.
Inspired by the nature of her work, I wanted the logo to capture the essence of knitting and handmade artistry. I developed the concept around the visual of a yarn thread, which seamlessly tied together the theme of her craft. The final logo design features elegant yet playful curves resembling a thread, symbolizing both creativity and the intricate handmade process behind each toy.
Once the logo was finalized, I extended the visual identity to packaging design. The goal was to keep it simple yet inviting, aligning with the handmade, personal feel of the brand. Soft colors and natural textures were incorporated, adding to the overall warmth and charm of her product packaging.
Through this project, I aimed to create a cohesive brand identity that not only communicated the artisanal nature of her work but also made her products visually appealing for her growing customer base.
